High Risk Pregnancy

Most pregnancies have healthy, happy outcomes. Some pregnancies can be considered high-risk if there are problems with the mother’s health, health of the baby or multiple gestations. Mission Ob/Gyn understands that these pregnancies require special care and our doctors are well trained in diagnosing and treating these conditions.

For example, medical conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can complicate pregnancies. Sometimes conditions can arise during pregnancy such as premature labor, incompetent cervix, growth restriction or placenta previa.

Our office is well equipped to handle these types of high-risk situations with advanced ultrasound techniques and fetal monitoring capabilities. Our team also works closely with perinatologists if needed.
