    Great stuff and the best doctor miamoto
    Dr. Miyamoto provided care for my mother and I totally entrusted my health to him now. He is compassionate, calm, kind and patient doctor and listens. I am very grateful to have him as my doctor.
    Dr. Miyamoto is a very good, caring doctor.
    He helped me get the insurance company authorization for the new drug he prescribed
    Dr. Miyamoto and his office are very professional, helpful, informative, and kind. They work with your needs and listen. I enjoy receiving care at this office and feel that my cardio health is improving.

    Biography

    Dr. Miyamoto is a board-certified cardiologist with over 25 years of practice experience. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University where he graduated with Distinction and Departmental Honors. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Following this, he was a clinical and research fellow in Cardiology, Heart Failure and Transplantation at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.

    Dr. Miyamoto joined Mission Heritage Medical Group Cardiology in 1998 and has been involved in clinical practice, research and medical technology development. His major research interests focus on the fundamental aspects of cardiovascular disease, including imaging studies of ancient humans (mummies) as well as indigenous, pre-industrial populations.

    Dr. Miyamoto is very involved in developing technology applications for health care. He still strongly believes in the importance of the human side of the physician-patient relationship, though.
