At just 18 years old, the day before my first appointment with Dr. Janet Yazdi, I had a stroke. I spent a week in the stroke unit at mission hospital stroke unit and by God's grace, the clot passed on its own, and when I was finally discharged, I met the doctor who would change my life forever.After the first appointment together, I knew that my life would be in amazing hands. From day one, she never questioned me, never looked down on me, and believed in me when I had stopped believing in myself. She's walked beside me through every chapter-healing, marriage, motherhood, and all the storms in between. She's fought for me when I couldn't fight for myself and helped me build the life I once thought was out of reach.Nineteen years later, I'm still in awe of how one person's compassion and faith can shape an entire life.Happy 19th anniversary, Dr. Yazdi. It's been one incredible journey, and I'm forever grateful to be your favorite patient! Dr. Yazdi is one of the most amazing doctors that y'all are so fortunate to have in your medical family. Thank you for bringing me my earth side angle through adulthood!
