  • Poor communications skills. Poor bedside manners.
I feel extraordinarily lucky to have Dr. Vora as my neuologist. He is kind, caring, very intelligent, and has a very nice "bedside manner". As a former Trauma/ICU nurse, I have had experiences with thousands of doctors in a variety of fields, he is one of the best. My only criticism of Dr. Vora's office is not being able to always reach someone. I have left messages with no return call back, ever. I was told by a member of his office staff after a visit that someone would be calling me about a procedure, but there was no follow through. I no longer needed the procedure, so all turned out fine. Dr. Vora's staff is super friendly and always very courteous, but reaching them is often difficult and follow through is lacking. Fortunately I have found that I can very, very easily communicate with any of my doctors via email, via my medical portal "Follow My Health" if I need anything. Overall, I give Dr. Vora and his staff a great big "thumbs up"!
I am very happy with the provider, he is experienced and knowledgeable in solving my needs.
gave good options for additional testing and follow-up
Unfortunately this doctor had little insight into my problem. He was attentive and interested in knowing my concerns but had little to offer to resolve my issue. Potentially he was not the correct physician for my specific problem.
