    I am just getting to know Dr. Shereshevsky since my previous GP was Dr. Heston. It is really too soon to determine how our relationship will develop, but so far, I am happy with his care.

    Biography
    Born and raised in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, in a family of 3 generations of healers, Dr. Shev attended St. Petersburg Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. After graduation he returned to Kiev where he was trained in surgery. He then worked at the Ukranian National Medical University as well as private clinics as a general and colorectal surgeon. After immigration to the United States with wife Tatyana, who he met in medical school, and 6 yr old daughter Victoria he spent a few years in New York where he studied English and prepared for board certification and diploma evaluation. After 3 years of American surgical training he moved to Family Medicine. He worked as a Family Medicine doc for 7.5 years before moving to Eureka, CA to join his wife who is an OB-GYN at Redwood Women's Center in Fortuna. Their daughter Victoria is now an internal medicine resident in North Carolina planning to continue the family dynasty of physicians. Beside the work he enjoys he likes traveling, hiking, recreational bike riding, water or downhill skiing, cooking, and music. Read More
