    Biography

    Dr. Nicolle Bugescu is a Clinical Psychologist that is dedicated to helping improve the quality of patient’s lives. Dr. Bugescu earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from PGSP/Palo Alto University where she received clinical and research training at the Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Bugescu specializes in medical psychology, treating individuals facing medical complexities along with psychological comorbidities. These areas of expertise include working with individuals with cancer, headache pain, abdominal pain, diabetes, obesity, and chronic pain.

    Dr. Bugescu utilizes empirically supported treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and she firmly believes in strength-based and patient-centered approaches to treatment and care. Dr. Bugescu is active in her church and enjoys hiking and running in her spare time.
