    Biography
    Dr. Elizabeth C. O’Connell, M.D. FAAP, is Board certified and has been practicing pediatric medicine in Orange County for more than a decade. Dr. O’Connell joined Coastal Kids in 2006. With her primary focus in general pediatric care, she also has a special interest in adolescent eating and nutritional disorders. Prior to earning her medical degree, Dr. O’Connell received her RN degree at California State University at Long Beach and practiced as a Registered Nurse in the CHOC pediatric intensive care unit. Dr. O’Connell received her Medical degree at the University of California, Irvine Medical School, where she received many honorable awards, including the distinct honor of being named “Resident of the Year.” She completed her pediatric training and residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. O’Connell is fluent in Spanish. When not practicing medicine, Dr. O’Connell enjoys spending time with her family.
