Gelareh Nikpour-Heravi, MD

Thank you for your interest in me as your OBGYN! I know the relationship between patients and their OBGYN is special and I am honored to have the opportunity to take care of you. As your physician and OBGYN, I promise to care for you with empathy and understanding. I believe in providing patients information and guidance while reinforcing their autonomy.

I have been caring for women and their reproductive health for over a decade. Prior to medical school, I interned in community reproductive care clinics and realized I had a true passion for taking care of women. I trained at the University of California, San Francisco for medical school and found my way down to the University of California, Los Angeles and made my way back to my home town. Growing up in Orange County and now living down here again, it brings me tremendous joy and pride to care for this community of women.

I specialize in all realms of women’s reproductive health care ranging from office visits for well woman exams, office procedures, prenatal care, labor and delivery care, and gynecological surgeries. I enjoy being able to take care of the whole patient. I like to take time to get to know my patients so that we can creating an evidence-based healthcare plan that aligns with their unique and individual needs.

When I am not in the office, on Labor and Delivery or in the operating room, I love spending time with my two children, my husband and extended family. I also practice self-care and make sure to enjoy at least one or two yoga classes every week.
