The Golden State Patient Experience Awards is Providence’s California-wide program recognizing providers in Northern and Southern California who consistently deliver outstanding patient experiences, based on patient feedback and experience scores.
Dr. Srivarshini (Varshini) C. Mohan is a fellowship-trained, board-certified breast surgical oncologist with St. Jude Heritage Medical Group. She completed her fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center and is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Mohan graduated with summa cum laude honors from Northwestern University as an undergraduate and earned her medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She went on to complete her general surgery residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident.
She specializes in the surgical care of breast diseases, with expertise in breast cancer treatment. She has presented and published research on clinical outcomes in breast cancer and is especially passionate about global health. She is dedicated to listening to her patients, understanding their unique needs, and supporting them both medically and emotionally throughout their breast cancer journeys.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mohan enjoys hiking, reading, and painting, and most of all, spending time spent with her family and friends.
