    Biography

    Kaitlin Masatsugu is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides mental health services in the Behavioral Health & Primary Care Integration Program for Providence St Jude Heritage Medical Group. Kaitlin completed her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and obtained Dual Graduate Degrees in Masters of Social Work and Masters of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Kaitlin has been a Caregiver with Providence Health since 2015 in Clinical Social Work roles ranging from St Joseph Home Hospice Care to positions at Mission Hospital and St Jude Medical Center.

    Kaitlin draws from evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to encourage patient exploration of healthy coping skills and development of strengths. By working collaboratively with her patients and their medical team, she hopes to reach therapeutic goals and reduce mental health symptoms.
