Dr. Alex Miner is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A PM&R specialist, also known as a psychiatrist, is a specialist in functional medicine and management of conditions of the muscular and neurological systems that lead to functional impairments. Dr. Miner completed medical school at Touro University California in 2015. He completed his internship ship year in Internal Medicine at University California Irvine in 2016 and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University California Irvine in 2019. Dr. Miner is a passionate specialist in acute inpatient rehabilitation, where patients work with an interdisciplinary team of therapy specialists to overcome conditions, injuries or accidents that have led to a sudden decline in function. Dr. Miner has been Medical Director of the Queen of the Valley inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Center since September 2019. When with his patients, Dr. Miner enjoys spending time with friends and family, writing and performing music, weight lifting and kite-boarding.
