Monica Lieu, PAC

I had a good experience with PA Monica Lieu (sp). I would be happy to see here again if needed.

Monica was very knowledgeable and professional.

My primary care provider is Dr. Garces. He is excellent! His team behind the scenes has always been excellent. Reception in the hall has been almost acceptable. However, in this case, Dr. Garces receptionist was below acceptable (possibly a new learner?). In fact, she entered in her computer all my information while I was waiting, and then realized she had done it all under the a different patient's name, and had to start all over. She told me I couldn't see Dr. Garces until next month. No alternate offered. So I had to ask about a PA that might be available to help soon. Then she said in a week or so. But a male scrub from the back came out and was very helpful, and checked to see if Monica Lieu (PA) was available. So with the scrub's help (sorry - I didn't get his name), I was able to get an appointment the next day with Monica Lieu. She is sweet, compassionate, informed with my records, patient, and gets it done - wonderful! That was one of my best appointments ever, and quick! Other PA's in the past have seemed very non-present, unavailable, more like "leave messages and I'll get back when I can" types. I have to say too that the phone system is terrible, nearly impossible to get a human on the line. I gave up, and just drive there now - it's faster. Monica is the shining example of what all PA's should be. Thank you for the opportunity to share this information.
