    When asking questions to the provider she referred me to the clerks as she didn't have the answers
    I thought the provider was knowledgeable and kind. They listened intently to my medical history and offered a few possibilities of a potential diagnosis. However, I was a bit disappointed with the overall treatment plan. When my results came back negative and there was not a clear diagnosis, I was not given any next steps or alternate treatment plan. I felt given up on despite living with a very uncomfortable, chronic condition. I now have to find other ways to alleviate the symptoms by myself instead of receiving more help and testing from the provider to determine what is actually wrong.
    Amber was amazing! She was very thorough in her exam, and clear in her explanation of her thoughts on my concern. She was comforting and reassuring, and I felt like she truly cared about me as a patient and a person.

    Amber D. Lewis was phenomenal. She was easy to talk to, answered all of my questions thoroughly and gave advice / guidance that was very much appreciated. I would love to continue seeing her in the future for routine check ups and appointments. The only negative comment I have is I have to return for a follow up appointment with a Dr. (not Amber's fault at all), and I can't get an appointment for 3 weeks. When I called to schedule an appointment with an NP, there was next day availability, which is fantastic.

    Biography

    Amber Lewis received her master's in nursing from California State Los Angeles in 2018 and is a board certified family nurse practitioner with specialization in women's health and obstetrics. Before becoming an NP, she worked as a registered nurse in the emergency and labor and delivery departments at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.

    She was born and raised in Southern California and after living for a while in Australia after completing her first bachelor's degree, she returned to Orange County where she has lived with her husband the past 12 years.

    While in school, she always knew she would want a career in OB/GYN and is passionate about helping women in all stages of life and strives to empower her patients to live the healthiest, and happiest lives possible. She welcomed a son in August 2019 and daughter in October 2022, which has only deepened her love for the field of obstetrics.
