    I am so happy that I have Samantha Hughes for my health care. She is wonderful and makes me comfortable to have her on my team.
    FNP Hughes is highly knowledgeable and provided expertise with my care for my systemic lupus and related conditions and ordered blood tests and other procedures to ensure the best treatment available. She is kind, patient and readily provides understandable directions to keep me in the best health possible. I am extremely grateful for her time and guidance.
    Very good and helpful
    She was very thorough with everything and very helpful with letting me know what we will be working on after I see the kidney doctor and see what he wants to do and we will take it from there.
    I was very concerned about my condition because I had made complaints to other doctors for a long time and have been ignored. This visit answered my questions and erased some of my concern.

    Biography
    Samantha Hughes is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She attended California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Following her undergraduate studies, Samantha then pursued her interest in nursing, graduating from University of Alabama-Birmingham. While working as a critical care nurse in a surgical/neuro/trauma ICU, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Medicine from University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2020. Samantha then went on to complete an 18-month Family Medicine Residency at Santa Rosa Community Health Clinic, Santa Rosa in 2022. It is here where she developed a passion for Rheumatology. Samantha is originally from the Central Coast but has made Northern California her home. When Samantha isn’t at work, you can find her at home with her guitar typically singing songs by her favorite artists such as Hank Williams and Marty Robbins. Read More
