Lisa Hoang, MD

Dr. Lisa Hoang comes from a large family and as the eldest, has always taken care of the younger children in the family. From this experience, she knew she had the patience and love of caring for children. The energy and curiosity that children possess amaze her. To be able to combine her love for science/medicine with working with children and their families made pediatrics a natural and perfect choice for her. She believes that the family and parents are important partners in a child's well-being and is dedicated to working together to achieve lifelong health for each child. She strives to develop trust, continuity of care and to provide compassionate and exceptional medical care. As a mother, Dr. Hoang understands how precious children are to parents, and finds it a privilege to be entrusted as their doctor.

Dr. Hoang studied biochemistry and initially pursued research. With this background, she is devoted to keeping up with the latest studies and considers herself a lifelong student. She also enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures and languages. From this interest, she has learned Spanish, Chinese and ASL as well as their respective cultures. Her hobbies include photography, painting, knitting, crafts and biking. In her free time, she loves spending it with her two children and husband.
