  • Meet The Provider
    Biography
    Janet Hewitt is the newest Provider to join Rohnert Park Internal Medicine. In 2004, she graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. After 11 years of acute care nursing at our local trauma hospital, Janet pursued her career goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. After several years training in our local community, she graduated with highest honors from Sonoma State University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the California Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

    Janet has always enjoyed caring for patients, and strives to provide a positive healthcare environment that fosters the development of a trusting patient-provider relationship, with the hope of helping her patients reach their best health potential.

    When Janet is not in the office caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors.     Read More
