    Doctor Hanson gets an E for excellence. He really helped me in the time we spent together on that appointment.
    Dr Hanson is my Gastroenterologist. I have a long term chronic illness that can leave patients like me feeling vulnerable. He is kind, knowledgeable, professional, and relentless In his efforts to get me the most appropriate treatment. He and his team are a blessing.
    We have good rapport and I like seeing him -- I feel he cares about my health genuinely. I am concerned about omitting certain parts of my life which affect health factors in medical notes though.
    This office has very good specialty doctors. I have seen a couple of them over the years

    Biography
    Dr. Brian L. Hanson attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his gastroenterology training at the Lahey Clinic followed by an ERCP advanced fellowship at Maine Medical Center under the expert endoscopist Dr. Douglas Howell. Dr. Hanson has been practicing gastroenterology in Northern California since 1998. He was most recently with Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville and before that in private practice in Ukiah. He has a particular interest in removing large colon polyps and has a certificate from the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for Lower GI endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Dr. Hanson's philosophy of care: "I am empathetic to the people that seek GI care and always seek to understand their needs regarding disease and symptom education as well as diagnosis and treatment of their GI condition. I also remove large colon polyps and I have received advanced training in ERCP." He enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology care and building relationships with patients, primary care providers as well as office and endoscopy nursing and support staff.
