    I had a good experience during the last three years. The Doctor always listens and tries to address my issues. I feel we are making progress. Hassan
    So knowledgeable and took the extra time to answer questions- he brought up the fact he understands I don't accept blood or blood transfusions before I even thought of saying it and he was extremely respectful of my conscience I felt he understood how badly I'm feeling physically and understands the urgency which I appreciated
    Dr Hanson was very friendly and knew my extensive history. It was clear he had reviewed my case. He then took the time to discuss it with me.
    Provider went above and beyond expectations. I really appreciated his and his staff's help.

    Biography
    Dr. Brian L. Hanson attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his gastroenterology training at the Lahey Clinic followed by an ERCP advanced fellowship at Maine Medical Center under the expert endoscopist Dr. Douglas Howell. Dr. Hanson has been practicing gastroenterology in Northern California since 1998. He was most recently with Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville and before that in private practice in Ukiah. He has a particular interest in removing large colon polyps and has a certificate from the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for Lower GI endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Dr. Hanson's philosophy of care: "I am empathetic to the people that seek GI care and always seek to understand their needs regarding disease and symptom education as well as diagnosis and treatment of their GI condition. I also remove large colon polyps and I have received advanced training in ERCP." He enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology care and building relationships with patients, primary care providers as well as office and endoscopy nursing and support staff.
