    This provider made my child feel bad about her body and left her crying on the way home. She assumed because she is on the high percentile for her weight that she doesn't eat healthy or exercise. That is a misconception. I have an older daughter with an eating disorder and this plays a part on why it develops because adults that they respect tell them they are overweight and need to lose weight. She showed her where she is on the growth chart and where she should be which was unreasonable! Her body is growing and it's not one size fits all
    It was my first time meeting this provider and I absolutely love her. My son has anxiety going into appointments and she was very kind, gentle, and heard everything we had to say. She validated my mom concerns in a way that eased my worries once I understood what was happening.which was right away. She gave me steps to take if it gets worse and what to look out for.
    We love Dr. G are we were so glad we got to see her!

    Dr. Gutierrez is a pediatrician dedicated to the health of her patients who strives to work as a culturally sensitive physician, while continuing to emphasize preventive medicine.

    When Dr. Gutierrez isn't caring for patients, she enjoys sports, cooking and traveling.
