    Dr. Michelle Davey is an incredible doctor. She really listens, and thinks beyond the symptoms into the "why". For example, when I complained of back and hip pain on my right side, she deduced that the problem could be my right foot, and she was 100% right! I recently came to her with concerns about depression, and felt heard.
    I saw Dr. Davey for the first time. She seemed to be very knowledgable and gave me referrals to specialists which was what I thought should be done.
    I would like to see all persons in the office introduce themselves by name and state their role- this would provide a more personal approach and make me feel more comfortable . I asked the front office person and the medical assistant their names. The doctor introduced herself by name

    Biography
    Dr. Michelle Davey grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has deep roots in Sonoma County, where her family spent summer vacations at the family cabin near Occidental. She attended medical school just outside Chicago, at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Davey is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who has been practicing in Guerneville, at the Russian River Health Center, for the past 18 years. She next had a twenty year stint with a local Community Health Center before joining Providence. Dr. Davey has had an interest in HIV medicine throughout her career and has been certified as an HIV Expert through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She has also been trained in medical acupuncture and enjoys combining this ancient modality with her traditional Western Medicine training.
