    Biography

    Dr. Taylor Brueseke is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, College of Medicine in Hershey, PA where he earned his medical degree. He completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Irvine. Subsequently, he pursued fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Brueseke is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

    Dr. Brueseke specializes in the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse and has expertise including botulinum toxin (Botox™) injections and sacral nerve modulation (InterStim™) for overactive bladder and fecal incontinence, as well as minimally-invasive surgical techniques such as robot-assisted and vaginal surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.

    He serves as co-medical director of the Center for Pelvic Health at St. Joseph Hospital, located on the Garden Level of The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment. The Center for Pelvic Health is a multidisciplinary collaboration organized to treat women with complex pelvic floor disorders like urinary and fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

    His research interests include reversing the opioid epidemic, minimizing patient discomfort with surgical procedures and educating future generations of surgeons.
