Jonathan Anderson, MD

My focus is to provide exceptional care to people of all ages—from newborns to great-grandparents. I have a passion for helping my patients understand and manage their risks so they can live a healthy and productive life. I chose family medicine because I enjoy developing relationships and caring for my patients through life’s many stages. Maureen, my wife, and I enjoy spending time with our daughter, Gabriella, and our son, Connor. We’re big fans of Disney so we treasure our visits to Disneyland, Disney World, and our many sailings with the Disney Cruise Line. We also love travel to explore new places around the country to experience the various cultures within our United States.

I am currently involved with the Physician and Provider Wellness Committee with the St Jude Heritage Medical Group, and I also sit on the Women and Children's Quality Review Committee at Providence St Jude Medical Center. I have been active in these committees for the last several years.

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I am involved as a Lector and as a Eucharistic Minister with The Church. Until the Covid shutdowns, I was a volunteer Eucharistic Minister to our patients at Providence St Jude Medical Center.

I cherish being a part of a Catholic Health System because it blends my Faith with profession as a family physician. Being born at St Jude I have always felt a connection to the Ministry of the Sisters of St Jude of Orange. I have also seen God work in my life in my becoming a family physician, not as a career, but as a vocation to extend the Healing Ministry of Christ. Often, we forget the Spiritual dimension of Health Care and of our purpose as health care providers.
