Fatima Ajaz, MD

Dr. Fatima Ajaz is a Board-Certified Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan and completed her residency and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Ajaz’s areas of expertise include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, shortness of breath, cough, obstructive sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, parasomnias narcolepsy, and hypersomnia. Her philosophy of care centers on providing compassionate, attentive, and individualized treatment for each patient. She values the mutual respect and trust that form the foundation of the physician–patient relationship and finds fulfillment in helping her patients improve their health and quality of life. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ajaz enjoys cooking, tennis and spending time with her children.
