    I have only seen Dr twice. He was highly recommended and he made me feel comfortable and I am very happy with this Dr and I would tell everyone to see him!

    Dr. Miyamoto is very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He answered all of my questions in a very easy to understand way. I am very pleased with his service and have already recommended him to my friends and family.
    Took the steps to get me referred to an out of network facility for specialized testing.
    He listens, educates me, and acts if necessary- always with patience.

    Biography

    Dr. Miyamoto is a board-certified cardiologist with over 25 years of practice experience. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University where he graduated with Distinction and Departmental Honors. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Following this, he was a clinical and research fellow in Cardiology, Heart Failure and Transplantation at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.

    Dr. Miyamoto joined Mission Heritage Medical Group Cardiology in 1998 and has been involved in clinical practice, research and medical technology development. His major research interests focus on the fundamental aspects of cardiovascular disease, including imaging studies of ancient humans (mummies) as well as indigenous, pre-industrial populations.

    Dr. Miyamoto is very involved in developing technology applications for health care. He still strongly believes in the importance of the human side of the physician-patient relationship, though.
