    Dr. Underwood is one of the most caring and understanding doctors I've ever had in my 80 years. I require some prescriptions that are hard to get through my insurance. She (and perhaps staff) always go the extra mile to make it happen. I thank you.

    Dr Underwood has been my Dr for years and I feel lucky to have her monitoring any health issues I am faced with. She is professional and takes her time answering my questions and concerns. I feel very confident she is managing my health.

    Biography

    Dr. Underwood-Jolly graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego, Muir College with a degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology in 1991. She obtained her doctorate at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine in 1995 and was elected to the National Honor Medical Society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Underwood did her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center from 1995 to 1998.

    Dr. Underwood has been with Mission Internal Medical Group since 1999 and is affiliated with Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
