    Dr. Benner is a terrific primary care physician and I am blessed to have him as my Dr.Empathetic , honest and caring.I'd be lost without his care
    Dr. Benner is a wonderful doctor. He always takes whatever time I need during my visits. Dr. Benner is great to explain things in detail and often times will make drawings regarding a procedure for medical Issue for me to take home for future reference. He is kind, caring, and knowledgeable. And I am so glad to have him as my primary care physician.

    Very happy with Dr Benner and the staff.
    Dr Benner has always been very interested in my health and given me very good advise. As a result, I started walking and lost 50 pounds. I still had some problems with my health and he advised to do more physical activity, like weight lifting, and I did. As a result, my A1c went down to normal and my blood pressure also did. M y cholesterol is also normal. And I feel great!

    Biography

    Dr. Benner joined the Internal Medicine department in August 2010 as a physician who specializes in comprehensive primary care. After completing his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara he went to medical school at the Medical University of Ohio. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from UC Irvine with a particular interest in preventative care.

    In his free time Dr. Benner enjoys bicycling, surfing and spending time with his family.
