Margaret Waruiru, DNP, AGACNP-BC is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in palliative care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Michigan-Flint and brings over a decade of experience in Critical Care and Pain Management. After extensive work in Intensive Care Units across the country, Margaret discovered her calling in Palliative Care and Pain Management, where she is able to focus on improving quality of life and supporting patients and families through complex medical decisions.
Her clinical interests include symptom management for serious illness, goals-of-care discussions, and compassionate end-of-life care. She is deeply committed to alleviating suffering and ensuring that care aligns with each patient’s values, goals, and preferences. Margaret philosophy of care is grounded in compassion, dignity, and respect. She believes in building trust through clear communication, attentive listening, and individualized, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, staying active, and exploring wellness and personal growth.
