    Biography
    Deidre Vaughn is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly 10 years of neurosurgical experience. Originally from Wisconsin, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in both Biology and Spanish Language, spending time abroad in Spain for her studies. She then moved to Boston to serve with Community HealthCorps AmeriCorps which led her to pursuing a career in medicine. She completed her Master’s Degree for Physician Assistant Studies at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2016. Following her professional training, she practiced neurosurgery in Boston at a Level I Trauma Center alongside some of the top neurosurgeons in the country. There, she learned the intricacies of caring for neurosurgical patients – cranial and spinal pathology, both operative and non-operative management, inpatient and outpatient settings. Deidre strives to share her knowledge with patients so that they can best understand their condition and make informed decisions about treatment options moving forward. She recently moved to Sonoma County with her husband, two daughters and Great Pyrenees named Honey. When she is not chasing her children around, she enjoys a strong coffee, riding the Peloton with Cody Rigsby, making gazpacho and a crisp fall day in New England. Read More
