    Biography
    Dr. David Shin received his undergraduate degree in Biological Science from UC Irvine. Then went to SUNY College of Optometry in New York and received Doctor of Optometry (OD) in 2001. After practicing optometry in New York for 4 years, he moved back to California.

    Dr. David Shin is currently working at Vision Express Optometry in Hesperia. He loves his job, the career and the people he works with. At his practice, he mainly does routine eye exams, manages foreign body removals, eye infection, eye inflammation, and screens for eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, retinal detachment and diabetic retinopathy.

    Dr. Shin immigrated from South Korea to USA in 1981. Despite its imperfection, Dr. Shin believes, USA is the greatest country ever existed and thankful for the opportunities and the freedom it provides.

    Dr. David Shin is happily married with two daughters. He believes it is the simple things in life that bring long lasting happiness. Dr. Shin loves to play video game and watch moves with his family. Instead of working for ourselves, working hard for our loved ones and being thankful to them is key to happiness.     Read More
