    Biography
    The real challenge in medicine is individualizing care. Every patient has a different level of medical education, financial constraints, and direct and indirect needs. I believe in listening patiently, observing, and trying very hard to understand my patients' minds and needs. I consider their psychological, emotional, religious, and social needs while providing therapeutic options.
    I believe strongly in a patient-centered philosophy of care, emphasizing patient education and empowering patients to be active participants in their care, which is very crucial.
    I love to establish a lasting relationship with my patients. I enjoy seeing patients who I have seen for a long time and working with them towards the goal of either disease stability or improvement.
    Our team of physicians and dedicated staff are committed to providing the best patient-centered care that reflects patient needs, values, and choices. We also work closely with your primary care doctors and other sub-specialists to address all aspects of your health to optimize your pulmonary and sleep health.     My clinical interests include staging of lung cancer, evaluation of chronic cough, interstitial and inflammatory lung disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), insomnia, evaluation of excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep-related breathing disorder, parasomnias and restless legs syndrome.
