    Biography
    Dr. Núñez joins us with over 30 years of experience in general pediatrics and public health services in communities across California. Dr. Núñez has been drawn to pediatric care since early in his medical training. He says, "I have always been fascinated by the distinct phases of childhood growth and development from infancy through the teen age years." "I especially enjoy developing a sense of trust and connection with parents and families over time as partners in their child's health." His expertise encompasses a wide range of general pediatric conditions. He has additional training and experience in public health policy with a focus on access to services, health education and preventive care. Dr. Núñez will be providing pediatric care two days a week at AVH. While not fluent in Spanish, he has continuously developed his skills with Medical Spanish in order to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients. He is looking forward to joining the AVH clinic team. During his free time, he enjoys being anywhere outdoors, gardening, and cooking. Read More
