A co-founder of Medical Oncology Care Associates, Dr. Mahmood completed his undergraduate work at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He went on to complete his residency training at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and, in 1976, was a Monfort Scholar in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Colorado. Professionally, Dr. Mahmood has taught several classes and written many publications on the subjects of Hematology and Oncology.
Dr.Mahmood has an excellent rapport with his patients, attempting to understand and meet each individual patient's needs whether physical or emotional. He believes his patient's should be aware of the most up to date treatment and allows the patient to make the best choices for them.
In his spare time, Dr. Mahamood enjoys spending time with his family, especially at the beach. He enjoys traveling and listening to music.
