Wayne Lenz is a proud member of the Behavioral Health & Primary Care Integration team for Providence Medical. Practicing within Orange County since 1999, Mr. Lenz graduated from National University after completing undergraduate work at Cal State Long Beach. During his career, he has assisted thousands of individuals using an empathic Cognitive Behavioral and Object Relations school of psychology approach.
Mr. Lenz’s area of expertise includes co-occurring disorders, where an individual struggles with both a behavioral health condition and a secondary diagnosis, such as a medical complication or a chemical addition. He has had the opportunity to practice behavioral health in hospital settings, county clinics and private practice. Wayne’s encouraging approach focuses on the patient being able recognize their strengths and past successes as part of the treatment plan; for this is often overlooked by the patient when struggling the most.
Please note: our behavioral therapists are available only through primary care provider (PCP) referral. Please contact your PCP for a consultation.
