The Golden State Patient Experience Awards is Providence’s California-wide program recognizing providers in Northern and Southern California who consistently deliver outstanding patient experiences, based on patient feedback and experience scores.
Dr. Steven Luminais is a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist having lived and practiced in Southern California since 2019. He completed Medical School at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Los Angles. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Keck + LA General Medical Center where he was awarded for his excellence in patient care. After residency, he specialized in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year of fellowship. During his specialty training he diagnosed and treated all forms of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign hematologic conditions.
Dr. Luminais takes great pride in remaining on the leading edge in the fast-moving world of cancer care. This includes the expanding use of molecular testing techniques, targeted treatments, and immunotherapy as well as close collaboration with specalists in related fields. He continually stays updated on the latest publications and meetings and always considers if a clinical trial may be an appropriate option for a patient.
