Kristen Lefstein is a dedicated and compassionate palliative care nurse practitioner providing comprehensive care to patients with serious illnesses. Kristen earned her post-master's degree from the University of California, Irvine, where she honed her skills and deepened her knowledge as a nurse practitioner. Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum of serious health conditions, including neurologic diseases, heart failure, chronic lung diseases, and cancer. Kristen's expertise extends to both clinic and hospital settings, where she is committed to delivering exceptional care to her patients.
An Orange County native, Kristen brings a personal touch to her practice, understanding the unique needs and cultural dynamics of her community. Her journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, followed by a second Bachelor's in Nursing and a Master's in Clinical Nurse Leadership. This diverse educational background provides her with a broad perspective and an ability to integrate various strategies into her patient care approach.
Prior to her specialization in palliative care, Kristen gained valuable experience in pain management and started her career as an oncology nurse. Her early exposure to the complexities of cancer treatment shaped her belief in a holistic approach, where she considers not just the physical symptoms of illness, but also the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of her patients' lives. This philosophy allows her to tailor her care to meet the comprehensive needs of each individual, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
