    Knowledgeable and courteous, but very rushed. Averaged about 5-7 minutes each visit. Never focused on key elements of my situation. Assigned testing out of logical order and stretched it out. Overall, very rushed but a nice man who had Somen knowledge in the area. In the end, I got his clear recommendations but I don't feel my problem's resolved.

    This was my last visit with Dr. James as he is taking a well deserved retirement. He gave me great care and I appreciated his concern and support with my urological issues. He is having me see Dr. McAdams in his practice so feel I will be in good hands.
    Nothing to really explain he did everything I expected, and set up some test.
    Always appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism.

    ***Top Doctors of 2018 Honoree by Sonoma Magazine*** Dr. James is a board-certified urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with over 25 years of experience. Dr. James is also a clinical instructor in urology at the University of San Francisco. In addition to general adult urology, his special interests include, Peyronie’s disease, female stress incontinence surgery, prosthetic and vaginal reconstructive surgery, male genital reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, including diagnosis and treatment of cystocele, enterocele, and rectocele. New to Dr. James’ practice is the UroLift® procedure. This procedure is a minimally invasive approach to treating an enlarged prostate, or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), that lifts or holds the enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra.
