    Biography
    Dr. Yasmin Fazli is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, conducting all-spectrum medical care with specialty interest in women's health, dermatology, and procedural care. Her academic journey began with undergraduate training at University of California, Riverside where she acquired a biology degree. She took a year and a half off before going to medical school where she worked as a behavioral therapist for children with autism in order to broaden her own understanding of low to high spectrum autism, family dynamics, and importance of human connection. Afterwards, she completed and received her medical school diploma through Ross University School of Medicine which was a unique experience taking her to several places while showing what determination and diligence could accomplish. Dr. Fazli went on to complete her residency in family medicine through Eisenhower Health where she discovered the immense need for good doctor-patient relationships. She fell in love with creating a place where anyone could bring any problem, ranging from pediatric care to geriatric quality. This was where she worked with high school students to bring annual Town Hall presentations on community-based problems such as the Fentanyl Crisis or social media detriments. Many of those students went on to receive scholarships to prestigious universities. This was also where she sharpened her procedural skills in ultrasound-guided injections, skin biopsies, intra-uterine device removal/placement, Nexplanon removal/placement, endometrial biopsy, cyst removal, and etc. Her procedural log was the longest in her graduating class. Dr. Fazli has published several articles during her medical career and went on to publish book chapters for Family Medicine texts. She has an interest in giving back to the medical community through the power of knowledge and thus enjoyed research whenever the opportunity presented itself.
