Hamed Farid, MD

Co-Medical Director of the Interventional Neuroradiology Department at St. Jude Medical Center, Hamed Farid, MD, is a board-certified interventional neuroradiologist, widely recognized for his expertise in preventing, treating and reversing the effects of stroke. Performing over 400 neurointerventions a year, Dr. Farid earned the Highlights in the Field Award from the American Academy of Neurology for his research of stroke treatment effectiveness. Dr. Farid completed fellowships in both diagnostic and interventional radiology, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the UCI School of Medicine.
