    Biography
    Dr. Paul Dinh is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He is also a Clinical Volunteer Faculty at the University of California, Irvine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Along with Program Director, Dr. Mark Halikis, Dr. Dinh provides consultation, surgical care, treatment, and follow-up rehabilitation to Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) patients with congenital or acquired hand conditions. This clinic is the site where Dr. Dinh actively participates in teaching orthopaedic residents and medical students in the field of hand surgery.
    In addition, Dr. Dinh is also active in clinical research. His main focus is on compressive peripheral neuropathies, having authored a technique article on decompressing the ulnar nerve in cubital tunnel syndrome. During his fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Southern California, Dr. Dinh has published numerous articles including the use of free vascular fibula grafts for the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis, malignant glomangiosarcomas of the hand, and traumatic metacarpalphalangeal dislocations.
    Currently, Dr. Dinh is interested in conducting research in the area of distal radius wrist fractures in the osteoporotic population. Specifically, he wishes to examine the association between bone density and certain patterns of distal radius fractures.
