As a certified Nurse Practitioner, I collaborate with physicians in our office to provide comprehensive healthcare to our patients. For me, it’s important to take care of my patients immediate needs as well as teach prevention strategies specific to them. I work with patients on a variety of issues including immunization updates, weight management, diabetes prevention, birth control/pregnancy prevention, cancer screening and cholesterol management. A Registered Nurse since 1987, I earned a bachelors of science in nursing and a masters of science in nursing from California State University, Long Beach. I received state certification as a Nurse Practitioner in 1993 and national certification in 1995. A native of Southern California, I’m married and have two sons. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, watching both kids and professional sports, skiing and creating scrapbooks.
