    Biography
    Dr. Chavan was born and raised in India, where she did her medical training at Government Medical College, Nagpur. She then moved to the United States to pursue Masters in Public Health at University of Massachusetts, following which she completed her residency in Pediatrics from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston.

    She relocated to the greater Los Angeles area in 2016, and was working with Kaiser Permanente for 3 years, before joining Premier Pediatrics. She is board certified in Pediatrics has been in practice since 2012. As a member of the local chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics she is involved in advocacy for children’s health. She is also fluent in Marathi and Hindi. Along with her interests in reading, traveling and dance; she derives strength and inspiration from her daily meditation practice and enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 young kids and a golden retriever.

    Dr. Chavan aims to focus on each child as a whole and believes in addressing the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of children to help them grow. She is passionate about preventive medicine and constantly strives to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in order to provide the best possible care to your child.     Read More
