    Biography
    Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I attended the Medical College of Ohio (now known as the University of Toledo College of Medicine). My residency training took place at Akron's Children's Hospital, also in Ohio.
    After training, I joined a pediatric group practice in Ann Arbor. In 1993, I moved to Orange County in order to marry my husband, Jerry, and joined a group practice in the area.

    Jerry and I adopted two children from Ukraine in 2000. They are both young adults now and I can say that I've gained some first-hand experience in dealing with the trials and tribulations, not to mention joys, of adolescence.
