    Biography
    Cynthia Bui, M.D., grew up in Irvine, just blocks away from Coastal Kids’ Irvine office. Inspired to become a pediatrician at a young age, Dr. Bui has always looked up to her own pediatrician for her compassionate and caring nature as well as her dedication to her patients. She has sought to emulate her mentor’s approach–and more–to provide the best possible care for children. Dr. Bui was accepted into medical school right out of Woodbridge High School as part of a specialized program at Brown University. She received both her Bachelor of Science and medical degree from Brown. During this time, Dr. Bui traveled to Vietnam to provide primary care to children as part of a medical mission and to complete research on child environmental health. Despite spending eight years on the East Coast, Dr. Bui’s heart was always in Southern California and she happily returned to Orange County to complete her pediatrics residency at UCI-CHOC. Dr. Bui joined Coastal Kids in 2016 embracing the opportunity to fulfill her childhood dream of caring for children in her hometown. When not working, Dr. Bui loves running, watching the Lakers and Cowboys play, spending time with her family, friends, and fiancé, and taking care of their dogs, Vega and Kobe. Read More
